Most aggression problems in dogs are rooted in poor early socialization of puppies. To avoid many of these problems, one thing you can do is expose your dog to as many different situations as you can when between the ages of 8 weeks and 1 year. You must make sure that your puppy has positive experiences in as many of these situations as possible. Remember, make sure you have your puppy’s full attention before you expose it to these situations and make sure you have treats to reward it when it behaves appropriately. As your puppy advances in its training you can incorporate the commands it has learned in these situations.
